Created to be adaptable, light and strong, the Pyramid collection (1959) utilises the cutout sheet steel construction method of manufacture. Combining functional excellence with aesthetic lightness and adaptability, the design is exceptionally sparing in the use of materials, is simple to construct and organic in its shape. They remain as relevant and useful today as the first day they came into being. The Pyramid table is designed by Wim Rietveld, other items of the collection are inspired by the design of Rietveld.

The Pyramid collection features a number of different configurations of the design, including tables, a desk and a bench all of which are visually linked together by the elegant base frame.
